Review : Assessing the Literature Since the Coup

As an aid to persons desiring background on Chile since the coup of September 11, 1973, Ron Chilcote and Terry Dietz-Fee prepared this brief synthesis of major sources in English and Spanish, including reportorial accounts of the coup itself, collections of documents, and significant analyses of recent events. They were initially moved to undertake this task by William Culver of the State University of New York, Plattsburgh, who offered an article critical of pro-junta interpretations.
