Brazilian Fiction and the Postmodern HorizonRejection or Incorporation?Universidade Federal de São Carlos Examination of trends in postmodernist theory with regard to cultural production from a Brazilian perspective and an analysis of the production of Brazilian writers reveals that postmodernism creates a "market culture" and that the pressures and limits of this culture influence the form and content of texts.
