Workers' Mobilization and Political ViolenceConflict in Villa Constitución, Argentina, 1970—1975Instituto de Investigaciones "Gini Germani" of the University of Buenos Aires The labor and political conflicts that took place in the city of Villa Constitución between 1970 and 1975 show in detail crucial aspects of the national social and political contention in Argentina that ended in the coup d'état of 1976. Both working-class struggles and civil war intensified during this period and conditioned each other in complex ways.
